　　香港報業公會每年舉辦「香港最佳新聞獎」，評選年度優質新聞作品，表彰優秀的新聞從業員，鼓勵他們在這個充滿機遇與挑戰的年代中，堅守公正持平、客觀求真的信念，並發揮專業精神服務社會。

　　謹在此多謝業界和社會人士的支持與參與，並祝賀各位得獎同業。希望大家精益求精，繼續履行新聞工作這神聖的使命。

    　　In this age of information explosion, the media industry is facing ever-changing challenges at a time of intensifying competition and diversifying developments.

    　　The Newspaper Society of Hong Kong holds the Hong Kong News Awards annually to recognize quality works of journalism and outstanding journalists. Our aim is to encourage practitioners to serve Hong Kong professionally with balanced and objective news reports.
